Storms, Flooding Continue across the Coverage Area Again Today

Again, there was another humid day across our prompted the area and showers and thunderstoms moved in from the north to the south, prompting many warnings in Westmoreland County along with the SW edge of Greene County, of which the NWS Radar signified a Tornado Warning for thre and a few West Virginia Counties to the west and south. This same storm brought the need for a Flash Flood Warning across the southern reaches of both Fayette and Greene Counties

Here, at the recording station, we received .04 inches of new rain due to a passing downpour about 6:30 PM tonight as part of a line of storms coming from Westmoreland County.
